Today we are launching EV Lens, a new venture of Wolf x group. It was created with a clear ambition: to bring electric-vehicle intelligence to everyone. See the car. Understand the technology.

How it works

Point the iPhone camera at a vehicle, on the street, at a dealership or in a driveway. EV Lens identifies the make, model and generation and opens the technical profile behind it: battery and drivetrain information, range, performance and the specifications for the market you are in.

  • Identification. Make, model, variant and generation from a single photo.
  • Battery and range. Usable capacity, real-world range and charging speed.
  • Powertrain. Motor power, drivetrain and acceleration.
  • Provenance. Where the battery cells come from and which factory built them.
  • Local specifications. Price, range and consumption for your market.

Evidence, not guesses

EV Lens is built on a source-backed knowledge base: technical claims trace back to a cited reference, and where the data is uncertain, the app says so. The result turns complex automotive data into accessible, evidence-based insights for drivers, enthusiasts and industry professionals.

Why Wolf x group built it

EV Lens is a new venture of Wolf x group, alongside WLF Energy in the sustainability part of the portfolio. It reflects how Wolf x group builds and supports technology ventures that turn specialist knowledge into practical value for everyone.

EV Lens is free and available now on the Apple App Store.
